3D RECONSTRUCTION AND RENDERING VISUALIZATION OF TUNNEL POINT CLOUD

Abstract. This paper presents a method for rapid and automatic visualisation of over-undercutting based on 3D reconstruction rendering tunnel point clouds. The uses model filtering our improved voxel cloud lite to maximise the preservation original features while streamlining cloud. is then completed according proposed alpha-shape algorithm with low parameters combined fast optimisation model, which achieves high accuracy significantly improving computational efficiency meet requirements tunneling project. calculated by selecting RGB values. darker colour, heavier degree over-excavation or under-excavation. According under-excavation value, ratio in interval obtained turn, gradient rendered increasing base colour each proportionally; kd-tree introduced calculate visualise information reconstructed model. In addition, this real-world data demonstrates that meets expectations through qualitative quantitative evaluation. Visualisation accomplished maintaining speed, visualising over-under-excavation situation providing an outlook future work.
